After the 2022 NBA Draft, there are so many different teams’ moves that we will need to discuss, and how they will impact them going into the 2023 NBA season. But out of all teams, the Oklahoma City Thunder undoubtedly surprised me the most with their draft selections.
Selecting Chet Holmgren out of Gonzaga, Ousmane Dieng out of France, Jalen Williams out of Santa Clara, and Peyton Watson from UCLA, the Thunder have done what many people have been waiting for them to do, and thatβs rounding out their young core for the future of the OKC Thunder.
Out of all 4 1st round picks, all fours highlights and upsides provide good reasoning for how they will play into what the OKC intends to do in the near future. Fitting these pieces along their current core in guys like SGA, Lu Dort, Josh Giddey, and Darius Bazley should be a seamless fit, and we explain why for everyone in this video.
